So in our class we’ve explored both presentations and collections. Collections are curated content – content from a variety of sources that are pulled together thematically, that often have short descriptions, but that really redirect to other resources. There have also been presentations. Presentations pull together content as well, but instead of just collecting it, they put it into one media or multimedia format (i.e. one Slideshare or video, etc), which can be used in a singular manner to explain, communicate, etc., that concept.
While curated content is great for many purposes, and it is a part of the ePortfolio requirements, the presentations in this course should be the latter. If there’s any questions, let me know:) – Sasha
